Description
Principle of operation:
The operator starts the machine and stacks the product piece by piece on a conveyor belt equipped with metal clamps evenly spaced along its length. Guide strips are installed on both sides of the belt to ensure the correct positioning of the product. After that, the conveyor belt feeds the product to the block of disc knives, where it is cut into the required number of parts of a given thickness. The slicing size is determined by the distance between the disc knives, which can be adjusted according to technological requirements. Knives can be set either at the same interval for uniform slicing, or at arbitrary intervals for, for example, removing the upper and lower parts. The cut product enters the receiving container or is transported further if the machine is part of an automated line.
