Description
The STvega Separating Pumpkin Seeds H200 machine is designed to remove seeds from pumpkins. This device has a high purification factor (>95%) and a low damage factor (≤5%). During the extraction process, the seeds are not damaged, the presentation of the product is preserved. All moving elements of the machine are covered with protective covers, which significantly reduces the risk of injury. This machine can be used as a separate equipment or as part of a production line for pumpkin processing by farms and food industry enterprises.
Principle of operation
How STvega Separating Pumpkin Seeds H200 works consists in separating the pumpkin pulp from the seeds using two screw-type conveyors. The pumpkin, getting into the loading hopper, goes to the whip drum, which crushes the pumpkin into small pieces. The crushed pieces enter the first screw conveyor with a gap along the length of the conveyor. A screw auger pushes seeds with a small amount of pulp through the gap into a second screw conveyor, and directs the crushed pumpkin pieces to the outlet window. The second conveyor is closed with a perforated pipe. The screw auger of the second conveyor wipes the pulp along the perforated pipe, thereby separating it from the seeds. With the help of the auger of the second conveyor, the seeds were cleaned through the discharge Funnel sent to containers for finished products.
