Description
The STvega VML H150 machine is designed for automatic peeling of large and medium-sized vegetables and fruits (pumpkin, watermelon, melon, zucchini, eggplant, pineapple, papaya, etc.). The design of the machine ensures high efficiency of peeling in both directions of movement – both when lowering and when lifting the knife assembly.
How the equipment works:
The operator places the product vertically on the lower holder and fixes it from above using the upper clamping mechanism. Further, depending on the initial position of the knife head, the operation is started by the “Down” button (if the carriage is in the upper position) or the “Up” button (if the carriage is in the lower position). During operation, the product rotates around its axis, and the carriage with the knife moves smoothly along it. The knife assembly on the spring mechanism adapts to the surface of the product and removes a layer of peel of a given thickness both when moving down and when moving up. After the cleaning cycle is completed, the operator presses the “Stop” button and releases the product from the latches.
What ensures the efficiency of the machine:
- Two-way duty cycle: The knife cleans the product when the carriage is moving both down and up, eliminating idling and increasing productivity.
- Separate gear motors for product rotation drives and carriage movement ensure reliability and stable operation under load.
- The spring pressing mechanism allows the knife assembly to accurately copy the irregularities and complex shape of the product.
- Precise adjustment of the working clearance of the knife head ensures minimal waste and a neat cut of the skin.
- Removable panels provide quick access to internal units for cleaning and service.
- Convenient operation using mechanical buttons located on the machine body.
- All parts in contact with the product are made of SUS 304 stainless steel, the design meets food safety standards.
