Description

The STvega Dicer H400 industrial vegetable cutter is designed for cutting various vegetables and fruits into bars and cubes, including potatoes, carrots, beets, onions and many other products.

Principle of operation:

The product is loaded through the receiving hopper, then enters the rotating drum. Centrifugal force presses the product against the inside of the drum. The first knife (cutting blade) cuts the product into a slice, the size of the outlet hole adjusts the size of the output product. Next, the product falls on disc-shaped knives, which cut it into bars. The size of the bar depends on the distance of the disc knives in the block. If the product has a fibrous structure, it is recommended to use circular knives with saw blades (except for the slicing size of 3 mm). The third knife cuts the product into cubes. In the case of dismantling this knife, the shape of the original product will be a bar. The cut product through the discharge chute enters the container for finished products.

For cutting a soft product (tomatoes, kiwis, strawberries, etc.) and for some fairly hard foods, it is possible to apply water at the time of cutting to reduce damage to the product:

  • For a soft product, in this case, the slicing shape is preserved, preventing damage to the product.
  • For a hard product, water helps prevent it from dispersing (reduce the “flour” coefficient when cutting) and also increases the life of the knives.

Two types of circular knives are available: circular knives with flat blades and circular knives with saw blades (for a product with a fibrous structure).
