The STvega Onion Line Automat H1200 onion peeling line is designed for peeling and trimming the upper and lower parts of onions. The productivity of the line is 700-1200 kg/h depending on the caliber of the onion.

The line can be made in two versions:

  1. First, the onion is peeled (block I) and then the upper and lower parts of the onion are cut off (block II). This option requires more inspection.

The sequence of the line’s composition in this case:

  1. Feed elevator-conveyor to feed the product into the onion peeling machine;
  2. STvega Onion Peeler H1200;
  3. Feed elevator-conveyor for feeding the product into the onion upper and lower trimming machine;
  4. Onion Cutting Machine STvega Onion Cutting H1200;
  5. Inspection table.

It is possible to supplement the line with a feed elevator-conveyor to unload the product from the STvega Onion Cutting H1200 Onion Onion Cutting Machine and transport it to the inspection table.

  1. First, the upper and lower parts of the onion are cut off (block II) and then peeled (block I). In this option, there will be less inspection, but you will need to wash the product.

The sequence of the line’s composition in this case:

  1. Feed elevator-conveyor for feeding the product into the onion upper and lower trimming machine;

  3. Feed elevator-conveyor to feed the product into the onion peeling machine;

The line includes two (in the extended version three) feed elevators and an inspection table, which can be selected in different designs (model, length, etc.) at the request of the client. The line can be supplemented with the necessary equipment according to the customer’s requirements according to the technological process.

Notes:

  • For the effective operation of the STvega Onion Peeler H1200 machine and obtaining a high-quality cleaning result, the onions must be completely dry.
  • To achieve optimal processing quality, it is recommended to use onions of a certain caliber with a tolerance of up to two centimeters (for example, 6-8 cm or 7-9 cm). The seats of the STvega Onion Cutting H1200 Onion Cutting Machine can be customized for different bulb sizes. Significantly exceeding or decreasing the gauge compared to the specified caliber may result in excessive product loss or undercut of the root part. This is due to the fact that the knives are set for a smaller diameter of the product.
  • In order to ensure high-quality trimming of the upper and lower parts of the onion, the operator needs to accurately lay the bulbs in the seats of the STvega Onion Cutting H1200.

Principle of operation:

Onions are supplied by means of a feed elevator-conveyor to the machine for trimming the upper and lower parts of the onion. In the cutting area, with the help of a clamping mechanism, the bulb is fixed depending on the size and the upper and lower parts of the bulb are directly pruned. Next, the onion comes out and goes for further processing or goes into the prepared container.
