Description

The STvega L1500 machine is designed for washing or washing and cleaning fruit and vegetable products, depending on the type of shafts installed. It works effectively with foods such as potatoes, carrots, beets, ginger, Jerusalem artichoke, celery root and other root vegetables.

Equipment advantages:

  • Covers with viewing windows – prevent water splashing, helping to keep the work area clean. Shock absorbers lock the covers in the open position, which is convenient for the operator during maintenance.
  • Separate control unit – provides maximum protection of the electrical part from moisture and facilitates the operation of the equipment in production conditions.
  • Loading hopper – allows you to connect the machine to automatic root crop processing lines, ensuring the convenience of feeding the product.
  • Built-in inverter – ensures a smooth start of the motor, reduces the load on the drive elements and extends the life of the machine.
  • High-quality materials – the body and assemblies are made of SUS 304 stainless steel and food-grade polymers that meet the requirements of HACCP, guarantee durability, safety and easy cleaning.

Principle of operation:

The product is loaded into the washing bath. With the control panel, the operator sets the speed and operating time of the brush shafts and starts the machine. Water is supplied along the top of the bathtub in thin jets. The washing or cleaning process takes place by rotating the brush or corundum rollers for 2-5 minutes (depending on the type of product and the degree of contamination). Waste water flows into the pan and is discharged through the pipe into a prepared container or sewer.

At the end of the cycle, the operator opens the lid of the washing bath using a lever, and the cleaned product automatically enters the discharge chute, from where it is directed to the container or to the next stage of the technological process.

It is possible to install different types of shafts on the machine:

  • Brush shafts marking MM (soft brush) – for washing any root crops with further processing or subsequent packaging.
  • ST marking brush shafts (stiff brush) – for washing and cleaning root crops with subsequent processing or subsequent packaging. Suitable primarily for thin-skinned foods such as carrots, beets or new potatoes.
  • CB marking combination shafts combine corundum and brush shafts for washing and cleaning root crops at the same time.
