The STvega Onion H500 onion peeling machine is designed for automated onion peeling with high result stability and minimal operator involvement. Thanks to the dry pneumatic cleaning method, the machine ensures uniform and accurate cleaning of onions without damaging the bulb itself.

The model is optimally suited for use in vegetable bases, processing plants and industries with a large volume of raw materials, where the speed of processing, repeatability of the result and the reduction of the impact of the human factor are important.

Principle of operation:

Onions are loaded into the receiving compartment by the operator or fed using a feed conveyor. Next, the product is captured by a vertical conveyor with legs and sequentially moved to the pruning area, where the bulb is prepared for husking. After that, the onion enters the cleaning zone, where it is treated with directed streams of compressed air, as a result of which the husk is separated without mechanical contact with solid elements.

The peeled onions are brought by a conveyor belt to the inspection table or directly to the container for finished products, where, if necessary, manual additional cleaning of the upper and lower parts can be performed.
