Description

The STvega Tea Leaf Roller (H35, H55 series) is designed to perform one of the key technological operations in tea production — the formation and twisting of the leaf blade before the fermentation stage. In the process of operation, the tea leaf is carefully twisted around the central vein, which contributes to the secretion of cell juice and the formation of the characteristic structure of the finished product.

The equipment combines the traditional principle of manual twisting with mechanized and stable operation, which allows you to get a uniform result with a significant reduction in the labor intensity of the process.

Principle of operation:

The prepared and dried tea leaf is loaded into the drum of the machine manually or from auxiliary containers. After loading, the drum closes, and the operator sets the required force of pressing the sheet against the working surface.

During operation, the drum rotates at a fixed frequency, due to which the sheet gradually twists, compacts and acquires a characteristic tubular shape. Curling usually occurs in several stages with intermediate loosening of the leaf to prevent the formation of lumps and ensure uniform processing.

At the end of the cycle, the twisted tea leaf is unloaded through the lower hatch into the prepared container and sent to the next technological stage — fermentation.
